So I go to www.aftonbladet.se and find an article called “Terrormisstänkta greps i Tyskland” (translation: Terrorist suspects were caught in Germany). Apparently 2 somalian terrorist suspects were taken into custody. Then I noticed the above picture (the one on the left). Picture of an enterance into the airport, then signs of airlines in a close up. KLM at the bottom. Then righteously ollowed by Turkish Airlines and IranAir. Isn’t it ironic that these two middle eastern airlines would end up in this particular article? The suspects were Somalians, were they not? And please name a terrorist or terrorist suspect that has been of Iranian or Turkish descent. Can’t come up with any right? Thought so.

HAHA Sorry for the french but I just wrote my history test today. My God! We only had to write one essay which I’m good at when it comes to history but this time…it didn’t go too well. I just wrote a bunch of stuff that I remembered. I know I’m gonna pass but that was definitely below standards for me when it comes to history. It was just horrible! 😦
I got a normal school day tomorrow and then my first math test on Thursday. I’m not really worried about the math test, I understand it really well. Only problem is that I get really nervous when I write math tests so I always make dumb mistakes :(. Hopefully it goes well. And then I have no school on Friday and the following Monday! YES!
I’m leaving for Sweden to celebrate my and my aun’ts birthdays! 😀 WOHOO!!! I cannot wait. I don’t have time to see anybody though so I’m really sorry. Next time hopefully!
I have studied for 6 hours…I can’t even breathe anymore. My head is about to explode and I feel sick. This would have been fine if this shit was actually interesting but it’s not. “Finnish histroy” (which is actually Swedish history to celar things up) sucks. Same thing keeps happening over and over again and all the kings are either called “Karl” or “Gustav”…there are like a million of them. 0 points for originality that’s for sure. I still haven’t actually learned anything yet. I couldn’t tell you for the life of me what I just read. I have to go over this shit again either in a few hours or tomorrow. The test is on Tuesday. Ugh I feel SICK!
I feel like I need to clear some things up. I have, lately, been getting a lot of shit for being against Persian rap. I’m not against Persian rap in that sense; I just don’t like it. I honestly think it sounds like garbage. To me, it’s just Iranians trying to copy the West insted of being creative and doing something unique. I know that the teens in Iran are under pressure and all of that. I know that they are opressed. I understand why they have turned to rap and I don’t blame them at all for it. It’s really all understandable. To me it’s all a matter of taste. Yes, I have listened to persian rap…and a lot of it. Yes I have listened to Erfan & company. And I understand that rap is a way for theteens of Iran to stress their opinions and angers (much like how the blacks in the US did when the rap movement first began). But it’s NOT for me. I don’t like it. I don’t think it’s creative at all. There are other unique ways to express yourself. Be inventive, be creative because the Persian culture is going under.

I’m sorry for the lack of updates! I’ve been busy studying for my upcoming History test (next Tuesday on the 23rd). History is my favourite subject and I’m pretty good at it but I don’t know shit about Northern European history so I am kinda screwed. And therefor I have started studying quite early for this test because I need to get a good grade on this (don’t want my average to come down).
Not much has happened, like always. It seems like that’s all I ever say now. But that will change in 3 weeks! THANK GOD! I can’t wait…meanwhile I will be busy studying for all my tests. Ugh, not looking forward to it!
Friday I went and bought a sweater from Zara. 20 euros and damn cute haha. I need to call my aunt sometime this week. I’m gonna cut and colour my hair! Wish me luck on this, it’s gonna be a HUGE transformation!
Also, I have found a hilarious persian rap song. I just cannot stop laughing at this song…it’s so dumb and stupid and FOB-ish it’s hilarious. The lyrics make me wanna laugh and cry at the same time. The frickin Iranian wedding song is included in this damn song (around 1.40 I think). HAHAHA. This song just makes me laugh! Great!
HAHAHAHAHAHA this song is too funny. LOOOOL look at howw gay they look. Especially Mani Man and Parazit (damn right u are frickin a parasite). On an other note I have found myself quite fascinated by a Turkish rock song. Hell, I frickin’ love this song. And the video is frickin’ awesome. 😀
Anyway, I have to go study a bit more about crappy Finnish history. Ciao!
